Advantage RN Acquires PHS Staffing

Advantage RN acquired PHS Staffing, a health care staffing firm with facilities in California, Arizona, Nevada and Utah. PHS Staffing posted revenue of $18 million in 2011 and provides all levels of per diem nursing and provides allied health care on a per diem basis as well, according to Staffing Industry Analysts.

“PHS Staffing’s focus on per diem staffing, along with their extensive experience in government and allied  contracting, is a valuable addition to Advantage’s service offerings,” Advantage RN President and CEO Matt Price said in a press release. “Their strong presence in the western states will further expand our Advantage On Call per diem staffing efforts while strengthening our ability to meet the challenging staffing needs of medical facilities and job seekers across the country.”

PHS Staffing will eventually transition to the Advantage On Call brand, Staffing Industry Analysts reported.

Terms of the transaction were not announced. PHS Staffing presently manages more than 200 health care providers in addition to 45 internal employees from its San Diego headquarters, Staffing Industry Analysts reported. The deal calls for its management team and employees to remain.

Advantage RN’s companywide revenues are estimated to be $80 million in 2012 with the acquisition of PHS Staffing, according to Staffing Industry Analysts.
