Credit Solutions
With over 25 years of Credit Management experience, TemPay's Credit team has been involved in compiling and analyzing information from many thousands of credit applications. The credit application process is one of the most critical aspects of a new client business relationship. This in-depth analysis allows your temporary staffing agency the opportunity to assess factors that clearly determine whether a customer is creditworthy. Most credit applications request the following information from potential clients:
- Business Name & Address
- Business Phone Number
- Cell Number (always good to have in case of emergency or non-payment)
- E-mail address
- DUNS Number (Dun & Bradstreet)
- Number of Years in Business
- Names of Company Officers/Principals
- Banking Reference
- Trade References (should be 2-3 references listed)
- Terms and Conditions *
- Signature (should be owner, officer or principal of company)
* Your Terms and Conditions should be specific and detailed in your credit application. They are important because they outline the terms and responsibilities your client assumes when contracting services from you. If terms are not included, "disclosed" (disclosure) and agreed to with a new customer on your credit application, you may not be able to recover costs which may be lost from late payments (finance charges), legal fees (non-payment), and the like.
TemPay's Credit department is designed to minimize loss and maximize your temporary staffing agency profits by providing results-oriented credit analysis and guidance where credit worthiness and due diligence are concerned.
